Cannes tender

Some information on Cannes.

So we " tender" in at Cannes, that means unlike, Barcelona, Livorno and Civitavecchia, where we dock and walk straight off, at Cannes, the ship drops anchor offshore, and smaller boats take us off the ship to the port, on a rolling service.
DCL booked tours and concierge get priority on the tender boats, others going DIY, or on private tours have to get a ticket when you are ready.
Now occasionally in that area it can be subject to strong winds and at least one DCL cruise in 2017 failed to be able to use tenders and so no one went ashore.
Now port time is said to be 9 am but the port shows us in at 7.30 am.

Thoose booking private tours must allow a lot more time to get a ticket and tender in.
